Four Children Found Alive After 40 Days in the Colombian Jungle Following Plane Crash

In Colombia, four children were found alive after a plane crash and a 40-day wandering through the jungle.

It is reported on June 10 by the local edition Time. It is noted that the eldest child is 13 years old, and the youngest is only 11 months old.

A group of children was discovered by a search group, which includes the military along with the indigenous people. It is specified that the children were dehydrated and suffered from insect bites.

It follows from the material that the children were among the passengers of the Cessna 206 aircraft, which crashed on May 1, 2023 – the aircraft’s engine failed and the pilot made a hard landing.

The wrecked plane was found on the 16th day of the search, the body of the pilot was found on board. Then the Colombian press wrote that there were six more people on board, including four children.

The bodies of the co-pilot and the mother of the missing children were later found. Given all this, no one had any hopes of finding the children after forty days of searching. What happened is a real miracle.
