Four dead people were found on Sunday and Monday in the River Lek near Streefkerk (South Holland). This is confirmed by a police spokesman after reporting from estuary of the Rhine. Could be a Gouda family missing since Saturday.
The family was at a wedding in Rotterdam on Saturday night, but were never seen again afterwards. According to estuary of the Rhine it is a father, mother and two adult Gouda daughters.
A woman’s body was found in the river Sunday. The bodies of the other three, two women and a man, were found on Monday morning.
The identity of the people found is still under investigation, the police spokesman said. estuary of the Rhine writes that the family probably died in a fatal accident. The police are investigating the incident.
