Four Beninese students from first C represent Benin at the 30th edition of the Pan African Mathematics Olympiad (OPAM) taking place in Kigali, Rwanda. This scientific competition is reserved for students under 20 years of secondary education. The four young ambassadors of Benin were selected among the best students in their class and will proudly represent their country during this competition.
The Pan African Mathematics Olympiad was created with the aim of promoting excellence in mathematics and science in Africa. Participants in this competition must solve complex math problems in a limited time. The tests of this competition highlight the abilities of logical reasoning and problem solving of the students.
