Four arrests in driving school fraud investigation | Inland

The Central Bureau for Driving Skills (CBR) has reported identity fraud several times in recent years. According to the police and the CBR, there is a connection between these reports and the arrests of the police. In some of these fraud cases, a double came for someone else to take a theoretical or practical exam. Driving school students for whom a double took the exam, have wrongly come into possession of a driving license. The CBR is awaiting further police investigation into these invalid driver’s licenses, “and will then take action to revoke these driver’s licenses.”

Valid driver’s license

In addition to the arrests, four training cars, cash and various forged ID documents were seized. The suspects are no longer in custody. The police investigation into driving school fraud started in January 2020, after a few people who were teaching driving with a forged credentials were quickly arrested. According to the CBR, students who have been taught by an unauthorized person, but have successfully completed the theory and practical exam themselves, are in possession of a valid driver’s license.

The CBR announces that several people who have been previously reported have not received a driving license.
