The authorities that make up the State Public Safety Board in Sonora They reported through X that in the municipality of Caborca was achieved arrest of four men from whom a vehicle was confiscated arsenal of firearms.
The arrest was made by elements of the Secretariat of the Navy (Semar) and the Criminal Investigation Agency (AMIC)who also seized chargers, cartridges and vehicles In other parts of the northern Sonora.
“In Caborca Humberto ‘N’, Jorge Arturo ‘N’, Felipe de Jesús ‘N’ and Adriel Alexander ‘N’ were arrested. Four firearms of various calibers were seized; 32 magazines for firearms of various calibers; 185 cartridges of various calibers; 905 cartridges of various calibers; three ballistic vests; two magazine-carrying vests; 10 tire-puncture points; various military-type clothing; two pickups and two vehicles, one of them armored.“, the Board reported.
Securities in other municipalities
In Oquitoaccording to reports, five rifle-type firearms, 43 magazines, 1,296 cartridges of various calibers for military use and two cars were confiscated; Sonoyta 21 firearms of different calibers, 660 firearm magazines, 5,216 cartridges of various calibers, six vehicles, 13 explosive devices and a grenade launcher attachment were also seized.
Seizures were also made in Benjamin Hill and in Sáricto which the State Board explained the following:
“In Benjamin Hillthree rifle-type firearms were seized; 22 magazines for rifle-type firearms; 378 cartridges of various calibers for military use and a Ford vehicle; SáricThree rifle-type firearms for the exclusive use of the Armed Forces were confiscated; 16 magazines for rifle-type firearms and 195 cartridges of various calibers for military use.“, the statement reads.
In a coordinated action between authorities that make up the State Security Board, four men were arrested, and an arsenal of firearms, magazines, cartridges and vehicles were seized in operations in municipalities in the north of the state.
