Four applicants will take over the job after Camilla Stoltenberg as director of the Norwegian Institute of Public Health (FHI).

The application deadline expired early in December, and there are four applicants for the job, the applicant list shows MedWatch has gained access to:

Giske Ursin, who has been director of the Cancer Register since 2011Mette Kalager, professor at the University of OsloGuri Rørtveit, professor of general medicine at the University of BergenMichael Stig Mørneby, business manager nursing and care.

Camilla Stoltenberg announced in April that she would quit her job as director of the Norwegian Institute of Public Health. Stoltenberg became a familiar name to many Norwegians when she led the institute through the corona pandemic. She is the sister of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg.
