Four Alleged Criminals Accused of Killing ERD Lieutenant Colonel and Lawyer Escape Police Capture in Dominican Republic

Four alleged criminals wanted by the National Police accused of being the alleged perpetrators of the deaths of an ERD lieutenant colonel, and a lawyer and communicator escaped from police agents yesterday morning through some bushes located on Av. Circunvalación near the batey Palavé.

The SDO regional director, Colonel Eduardo Escalante Alcántara, explained that the criminals managed to escape after seeing some police movement in said place and quickly fled in terror through the bushes that give access to the Palavé batey.

Colonel Escalante Alcántara indicated that one of the criminal members of the group identified as Winston Yeremi de la Rosa, alias doll face, was handed over by a retired officer and has already been sent to the Public Ministry.

The deaths of Lieutenant Colonel Enrique Portes Díaz, and the lawyer and communicator Félix Alberto de Jesús, (Moraito), as well as more than a dozen assaults and armed robberies, are attributed to this group of antisocials.

Colonel Escalante Alcántara said that the National Police will not rest until they arrest them and bring them to justice.
