Authorities in Jersey City filed charges against four young men who had sexually assaulted a teenage girl who was allegedly running away from home.
On Tuesday, Hudson County prosecutors indicted charges of sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a minor against Nasire Williams, 26, Elijah Sparkman, 21, Deveon Palms, 19, and Xavier Feliciano, 23.
The criminal complaint states that the events occurred at the beginning of the month, when the 14-year-old girl decided to flee her home on September 1.
Investigators noted that on September 4 the mother contacted police, explaining that her daughter had “had sex with six men her daughter did not know” inside a house on Claremont Avenue in Jersey City.
Once found by the police, the minor told the agents that when she had contact with the youths, she told Nasire Williams that she was a minor, but the youth replied that “he was not going to tell anyone” .
