Foundation stone laid for LGBTQ + museum in New York

An LGBTQ + museum is slated to open in New York in 2024. The idea arose out of resistance to discrimination.

The foundation stone for a new LGBTQ + museum was laid in New York on Tuesday. The museum aims to tell the stories of lesbians, gays, bisexuals, trans people, queer people and others who feel they belong.
