Friday night, British police confirmed that they had found the remains of 33-year-old Sarah Everard in a forest area in Kent in London.
Everard was reported missing on March 3, and a large-scale search operation was launched for the woman.
The murder of Everard has received enormous attention, and took a new turn when it became known that policeman Wayne Couzens had been arrested, suspected of being behind the kidnapping and murder of the 33-year-old.
According to British media, Couzens started as a police officer in 2018.
Policeman imprisoned
The body of the 33-year-old woman was identified via her teeth after her remains were found in a bag. It emerged during a court hearing on Saturday, writes The Telegraph.
The arrested policeman was strongly influenced, and struggled to pronounce his own name and tell when he was born and where he lived.
