The incident occurred at Çeştepe Mahallesi Cemetery around 01:00. According to the information obtained, citizens who heard a gunshot from Çeştepe Cemetery immediately informed the police and 112 Emergency Health teams.
Police teams who came to the scene found a person still shot on the ground with a gun in their investigation in the cemetery.
The medical teams who arrived at the scene determined that the person who was shot was killed. In the investigation carried out by the police teams at the scene, he determined that the deceased was Tayfun Şikol (60).
After the crime scene investigation teams worked, the lifeless body of Shikol was removed to the morgue of Adnan Menderes University Hospital for an autopsy.
It was learned that Tayfun Şikol, who died at the scene, ended his life with a gun at the grave of his wife Kadriye Şikol, who passed away a year ago.
