In recent months, many films have been delayed and The Batman was moved twice. First from June 2021 to October 2021 and for now the DC film is scheduled for March 2022. This is to make room for films that are already finished and to take pressure off the production process.
Director’s film Matt Reeves is still being recorded and during those recordings a lot of security measures must be taken into account. This produces striking set photos and it is not inconceivable that a face mask accidentally appears somewhere in the film.
The Penguin and Selina Kyle
Below you can see a number of those set photos via Just Jared and in those photos we not only see a mountain of mouth masks and Robert pattinson (Bruce Wayne / Batman), as well Zoë Kravitz (Selina Kyle / Catwoman) en John Turturro (Carmine Falcone). They seem to be at a funeral or something.

We see on yet other images Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot / The Penguin in action. The Batman is provisionally on March 4, 2022.
