The director of the Solidarity Fund for Health (Fosalud), Carlos Núñez, stated that the institution has provided assistance in the areas where the final scrutiny of the legislative elections is taking place.
Of the care provided by the Fosalud medical staff, more than 400 people were counted who requested consultations for various health situations.
“We have already provided more than 400 services to people who have required consultation for various health situations within the areas where final scrutiny is carried out,” explained Nuñez.
In addition, the director of Fosalud highlighted that during the elections on February 4, they remained active for the population, which is why they made more than 140 ambulances, three helicopters and four water ambulances available for any situation that occurred during the voting in the entire Salvadoran territory.
In this way, the official reiterated that for the next elections on March 3, the Fosalud system will remain active with emergency assistance in the different voting centers in the country.
