Forza Horizon 5 is a success, and it will get even bigger with a update which will embed sign language for some of its users. Unfortunately, we are not talking about “Brazilian” sign language – the popular POUNDS – since the update about the game, for now, only covers British English (BSL) and US English (ASL).
The news was communicated by Xbox Wire, Microsoft’s official news service for its console; followed by a demo video posted on the game’s official YouTube channel. You can check the material below, with subtitles (in English):

In Microsoft’s official communications in Portuguese, we did not find specific references about POUNDS.
Regarding the languages that will be in the game, the video above shows that an interpreter will be displayed in the lower right corner of the screen, in PiP mode (Picture-in-Picture, the same way from the video window opened by WhatsApp).
Accessibility issues are becoming more and more evident in games, with several examples adopting measures that include different types of difficulties from the audiovisual spectrum: today, most games include color filters for the colorblind, for example.
In Brazil, the novelty of Forza Horizon 5 was well received, with the Brazilian profile of the AbleGamers organization (@ablegamersbr) celebrating the arrival of the resource, and hoping that, in the future, our deaf people can be included in this support:
On the Microsoft side, there is still no information that support for LIBRAS will arrive.
Forza Horizon 5 has been winning immense favor in specialized critics, including the Digital Look. In our review, the editor Renato Mota made a point of highlighting the perfection of details regarding the graphic quality of the game, in addition to detailing the extremely open and extremely dynamic world where his races take place, as well as the use of neutral pronouns for the profiles of players:
