A footbridge collapsed in Chenani, Jammu and Kashmir, leaving at least 40 people injured, including children. The incident occurred during the Baisakhi fair, with a large number of people on the bridge causing it to collapse due to overloading. The injured have been taken to a health centre in Chenani, and four will be transferred to District Hospital Udhampur. There were no reported casualties. Police and relief teams have been conducting rescue operations.
