This was conveyed by his attorney, Revi Laracaka, and a press statement entitled ‘CLARIFICATION OF GIORGIO RAMADHAN’S ATTORNEY TEAM’. In a press statement, Revi explained the chronology of the incident.
“Initially, the Fortuner car entered from Jalan Gunawarman to Jalan Senopati towards the Youth Statue. Our client did not drive against the current, but the road went in 2 (two) directions,” said Revi in a press statement, Monday (13/2/2023).
Revi said his client had conveyed an apology to the victim. According to him, Giorgio Ramadhani had no intention of doing the damage.
“Previously our client apologized to Mr. AW and his family and also to the people who had watched the viral video. My client actually did not intend to do what was in the video, but frankly our client’s emotions were provoked,” said Revi.
Furthermore, Revi said that his party respects AW, the driver of the Honda Brio car, who is taking legal action regarding this case.
“Mr. AW, through his attorney, said that Mr. AW wanted to exercise his legal rights. Basically, our client respects Mr. AW’s legal rights and will always be cooperative in every ongoing investigation and legal process at the South Jakarta Metro Police,” he added.
He conveyed that Giorgio Ramadhan was cooperative. Since he learned that the driver of the Brio car had reported to the police, he said, his client had come to fulfill the summons from the police and submit evidence to the police.
“Our client since February 12, 2023, has been cooperative in coming to the South Jakarta Police. When we received information from the Brio driver’s Twitter (Mr. AW), that Mr. AW went to the South Jakarta Police to make a police report, our client immediately came in good faith without any summons. from the police with plastic weapons and fencing swords recorded in the viral video at Senopati. Our client has also handed over the Fortuner car which is the operational vehicle for the office where our client works,” he said.
