Erik Jendrišek ended his cooperation with FC Nitra. The former representative and participant of the 2010 World Championships had a contract with the club for the following season.
Jendrišek according to information ŠPORT.sk delivered to the club a pre-litigation request for payment of at least three monthly wages unpaid. Because FC Nitra did not settle the commitment within ten days, Jendrišek unilaterally terminated the contract.
“The captain is leaving the ship last. I keep my fingers crossed for FC Nitra to be reborn and especially to find people who care about the club, because Nitrička deserves it, ” wrote Jendrišek on Instagram.
After falling out of the Fortuna League, Nitra did not receive a license for the second highest competition, in the new year it will most likely present itself in the III. league. The end of the 34-year-old former German striker from Hanover, Kaiserslautern, Schalke, Freiburg and Cottbus was a matter of time.

Jendrišek was brought to Nitra in January by German investors led by his personal friend Peter Hammer. In winter, the offspring of Ružomberok decided to sign a contract with Trenčín.
