U23 and U17 away – U19 at home against Münster
In the guest appearance at Rot-Weiß Oberhausen on Sunday, October 6th, from 2:00 p.m., the U23 would like to continue the current upward trend and score the next points. For the U19s, however, after two defeats in the DFB youth league, the home game against their table neighbors from Münster is coming up. The clash at Paul Janes Stadium will take place on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. The U17 will also be visiting FC Schalke 04 on Saturday (1:00 p.m.).

That’s what the coach says
Jens Langeneke: “The last two games have been good for us in terms of points. It was particularly important that we won to zero. Of course we have tasted blood now and we want to build on that and win. However, it will not be an easy task, as Oberhausen were league leaders until the last matchday. A top team awaits us, even if they lost their last game. Last year we won 1-0 in Oberhausen and we want to repeat that on Sunday.”
U19 – SC Preußen Münster (Saturday, October 5th, 1:00 p.m., Paul Janes Stadium)
The current form
– Table position: 3rd / 16 points
– The last three games: N (1:3 at FC Schalke 04), N (0:6 against Borussia Dortmund), W (1:0 against FC Schalke 04)
The opponent
– Trainer: Jan-Matthias Hötting
– Table position: 4th / 11 points
– The last three games: U (1:1 against TSV Meerbusch), S (3:1 against SV Meppen), N (1:4 at Borussia Dortmund)
– Top scorer: Mikail Demirhan (6 goals)
That’s what the coach says
Engin Vural: “The Münster team is a good team when it comes to playing with the ball. We have to adapt to that. In the first leg we overslept the first half and were quickly 2-0 down. Things got better in the second half and we were able to take another point. Now we are playing at home, we are confident and want to keep the points in Düsseldorf.”
FC Schalke 04 – U17 (Saturday, October 5th, 1:00 p.m., Am Parkstadion, Ernst-Kuzzora-Weg 1)
The current form
– Table position: 5th / 8 points
– The last three games: N (2:6 against VfL Bochum), U (2:2 at Borussia Mönchengladbach), N (0:1 against Rot-Weiss Essen)
The opponent
– Trainer: Thomas Bertels
– Table position: 2nd / 17 points
– The last three games: S (2:1 at Borussia Mönchengladbach), S (2:0 at Wuppertaler SV), U (1:1 against MSV Duisburg)
– Top goalscorer: including Rafael Czulak (4 goals)
That’s what the coach says
Sinisa Suker: “The defeat against Bochum was clear, that was not foreseeable at all because we had a very good week of training. We have to correct the mistakes we made in this game, because they gave us almost all the goals on our own. Now it’s time to lick our wounds and start at Schalke with the same joy as in the first half of the season.”
