Players began posting complaints about younger opponents on social networks.
Most players returned to Fortnite due to nostalgia for the first season, which launched in 2017. However, it turns out that many can’t compete with teenagers playing the battle royale game on a regular basis – mainly due to the building feature. Some users noted that the authors of such posts have simply grown old and no longer play at the youth level. Gamers also advised switching to non-building mode to make the game easier.
The season of “Like Before” started on November 3. In it, players now have access to the original map with all the gameplay improvements from subsequent seasons. After this, Fortnite set an online record – by the evening of the same day, more than 5 million people were simultaneously in the game.
