The new Season 6 in Fortnite is called “Primeval Times” and offers numerous innovations in terms of gameplay and cosmetics. While players can currently interact with wolves, wild boars or chickens, the implementation of significantly larger animals is still pending, according to a leak: dinosaurs.
The newly introduced wild animals offer various possibilities: A wolf can be tamed and support the player in battle. In addition, killed creatures can serve as resources for weapons, for example, which you can build yourself in the current season.
Even if weapons with bones can be upgraded or it has recently become possible for players to fly around on chickens, numerous users asked themselves whether the name “primeval times” is an appropriate description of the innovations. Many fans missed that certain something – and in all probability should not be disappointed.
Jurassic Park meets Fortnite?
A leak now indicates that genuine primeval creatures could soon populate the island in Fortnite: raptors. Should it come to the implementation of said dinosaurs, it should be an exciting new element: Ignoring aggressive and extremely fast wild animals will probably not be a very good idea.
The community is already busy discussing a possible crossover with the Jurassic Park universe. After all, links with popular worlds from other games or film series are not uncommon in Fortnite. For example, fans have already been able to look forward to characters from the Marvel universe or emerging Star Wars elements.
Even if official confirmation from the game developer Epic Games is still pending, many players assume that they won’t have to wait too long for the longed-for raptors.
