If you thought that «The Rise of Skywalker», from 2019, was the last time «Fortnite» should get Star Wars treatment, so you thought wrong – “The Mandalorian” has found its way to «Fortnite Chapter 2: Season 5», as part of the “Zero Point” event, and Baby Yoda (or – SPOILER – Grogu) is on the load.
Now that Zero Point has been dug up, Agent Jones is recruiting “the best hunters across all realities” to help in the fight to stop the devil – this is where Mando and his naughty green buddy come into the picture.
This is the way
In addition to Mando, Epic Games has brought a whole host of new and exciting characters, along with new weapons and maps, including a sci-fi desert (meaning pink sand) and a tropical jungle.
The above new weapons include the so-called Dragon’s Breath shotgun, Mandos Amban sniper rifle and a tracking weapon called The Night Hawk.
However, the guest appearance does not stop with The Mandalorian – developer Epic Games says “The hunters on the island are just some of the first to come from outside ‘The Loop'”, and continues, “more hunters from the realities beyond” will be recruited by Agent Jones during the season.
To play as The Mandalorian in “Fortnite”, take a look at the Epic Games website and buy the latest Fortnite Battle Passpackages. This is valid until March 15, 2021.
