Fortnite is coming back to iOS again
It’s been a while (August 2020) since Fortnite was pulled from the App Store. For many avid gamers, that was also the end of their Fortnite adventures on iphone in iPads.
However, now there is good news, because the CEO of Epic Games (the creators of Fortnite) announced in a tweet that Fortnite will return to iOS in 2023. He tweeted “Next year on iOS!” and followed up that tweet with a photo of Fortnite.

There’s no word yet on exactly how Fortnite will be available, but Apple needs to allow iPhone and iPad owners to use other App Stores starting in 2023. The Epic Games CEO is likely hinting that Fortnite will return to iOS.
Apple plans to enable alternative App Stores in iOS 17. It is expected that by then it will be possible to download Fortnite on iOS. It’s almost obvious that you have to use a different App Store for this.
