Fortnite exits early access, Save the World, contrary to announcements, will remain paid / CD-Action

Well, Epica superhit actually nominally stayed in Early Access, but for a long time nobody seemed to treat him like that – neither the players nor the creators themselves. As the developers admit in the latest post on their blog, this designation was only a remnant of the debut of the original mode, Save the World. This was probably due to the original announcements, according to which the entire Fortnite (and not only Battle Royale) would switch to the F2P model after its premiere.

However, this will not happen, although studies do not explain why. At the same time, we have been informed that work on this mode will now “slow down”. For spending money, we are encouraged by Expeditions that will last the whole season and take us to a zone special for a given period.

Expedition Seasons will include progress tracks as well as brand new seasonal levels to which you will be able to advance. Completing challenges in Expeditions will provide you with seasonal experience points that will affect the level of difficulty of the game, weapons found and seasonal rewards to earn. By advancing to the highest Expedition levels of the season, you will unlock turbocharging materials that will raise the levels of weapons in the main collection above current limits.

The release date of the new feature has not yet been announced. Saving the World itself will eventually disconnect from Battle Royale, starting its own season schedule.
