After two weeks without construction in Fortnite, Epic Games has turned the feature on again.
In the game’s regular battle royale modes, you can once again avoid shootings by carpentrying skyscrapers on the battlefield. Here, players also have no Overshield – the additional shield that was introduced instead of construction.
Those who have appreciated Fortnite without construction can alternatively continue with this. Zero Build-modusen stays, just like previous rumors suggested.
Removing the building in Fortnite – a key part of the experience since 2017 – has been a controversial change, and fans have spent the last two weeks arguing on social media about whether the game is best with or without construction.
All the fuss has led to renewed popularity for Fortnite, and both new and old players have joined. At the time of writing also played it most put on Twitch, with over half a million viewers. By comparison, Grand Theft Auto V is the next game on the list, with 180,000 viewers.
In other news, Epic has rounded off the fundraising campaign for Ukraine. In total, the developer got in 1.25 billionwhich will now be distributed between Direct Relief, UNICEF, the World Food Program and the UN High Commissioner for Refugees.
