The US company Apple has banned the popular computer game Fortnite from its App Store platform.
The reason given was that the software manufacturer Epic Games had activated a direct payment function in its program and thus against the
Violate regulations. Large platform operators such as Apple usually require that cash payments for such apps run through their own systems and charge high fees for this. Epic Games sees Apple’s regulations as an anti-competitive restriction and has announced legal action.
