I have my doubts about it, especially with games like Fortnite you have to be very careful if you have children.
I would especially keep an eye out, especially now that they come up with these social mini games and rooms/clubs to socialize and make new friends, reminds me a bit of habbo hotel from the old days (also with all the nasty consequences that come with it .)
I also have Fortnite to test on PCs I build for the youth. (the most frequently asked question with a PC is: how does it play fortnite, on which settings and how many fps)
The amount of texts that I have received that are difficult to comprehend is almost incomprehensible, it starts with the question of how old you are and I literally played this game for a while, but then you still get strange proposals, I have it conversation cut off and reported to the users when she really intrusively started asking very personal questions and asking for pictures in certain poses.
(although that reporting and a ban makes little sense: I think you can just create a new account with a new email address and VPN)
As far as I’m concerned, epic games should really provide more supervision and the task of the parents/school/caregivers is to make this a good discussion and provide information about what to do if you receive these kinds of messages and how to deal with them.
