In an exciting and indefinite Clássico Rei until the last minute, Fortaleza secured a spot in the Quarter Finals of the Copa do Brasil. Leão was defeated by Ceará by 1-0, a goal by Vina, on Wednesday night at Castelão, but as he had won the first game by 2-0, he passed the stage.

Fortaleza started the match looser due to the comfortable result in the first game. And well-armed to go out at speed, Leão created many chances in the first 15 minutes of the game, being much better than Grandpa.
Romarinho and Pikachu almost scored, with João Ricardo saving Grandpa on both occasions. In another dangerous move, Moisés hit a cross and the ball passed over the post.
Ceará, on the other hand, could not create or pressure the rival, even needing to win by three goals difference.
15-30min
After the dominance of Fortaleza, the game balanced and became more foul, more stuck.
Gradually Ceará improved in the game and began to press, with Leão’s defense and goalkeeper Fernando Miguel working harder. In one of Vozão’s attempts, Vina sent the ball in the area and Fernando Miguel took it with a punch.
30-45min
In the final stretch of the 1st half, Grandpa kept trying to put pressure on Fortaleza, but with Mendoza and Vina well marked, he couldn’t create much. And the Lion, well placed, took danger in the counterattacks.
The two goalkeepers still saved a chance created, first João Ricardo in Romarinho’s move, then Fernando Miguel, in Vina’s move.
2nd time

Ceará returned for the second half pressing, trying to change the scenario of the confrontation. And even without so much organization, Grandpa pressed, running more in the leonine area, with Richard trying twice to defend Fernando Miguel.
Until, in the 15th minute, Vozão opened the scoring: Bruno Pacheco crossed Vina’s head, who hit Fernando Miguel’s corner.

After the goal conceded, Fortaleza tried to leave more for the game, but Ceará managed to defend well.
And when he attacked again, Grandpa almost scored the second, in a header by Yuri Castilho who swept the bar from Fernando Miguel.

The game was open in the final stretch, with Leão defending and Ceará attacking, and Grandpa had the chance to take the game to penalties in the 52nd minute, but sent the ball over the crossbar.
After the bid, the game was ended and Fortaleza took the spot in an electrifying Clássico-Rei.
