“Forsa” program: a coverage rate of 74%

The government program “Forsa” has a coverage rate of 74% to date, said Thursday the Minister of Tourism, Crafts and the Social and Solidarity Economy, Fatim-Zahra Ammor.

Of the 21,158 projects financed to date, the program displays an “exceptional” coverage rate of 74%, with a particularly remarkable performance in certain regions, such as Guelmim-Oued Noun, Dakhla-Oued Ed-Dahab, Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra , and the Oriental with coverage rates above 85%, underlined Ms. Ammor in a press release.

The program has also enabled the creation of 36,920 jobs to date, 44% of which are occupied by women, Ms. Ammor said during a post-financing monitoring meeting of the program, describing this impact as “significant”.

“This confirms the important role of the program in promoting entrepreneurship and, more generally, in developing employment for young people and women,” she added.

And to maintain that the objective of the program is to guarantee the success of entrepreneurs before even addressing the question of recovering deadlines, according to the press release.

Thus, the monitoring of this program is structured around two major axes, notably the realization of the project and the advancement of entrepreneurial activity, and makes it possible to examine the concrete use of the funds granted, to evaluate the progress projects and provide information on the effective start of the activity.

Precise indicators are also used to measure the impact of the program and the activity of funded projects, according to the same source.
