Leclerc’s pole position was in jeopardy after the end of qualifying due to an accident at the end of Saturday’s program, when he crashed into a wall with his Ferrari and ended the entire qualifying battle prematurely.
On Sunday, Monačan complained about problems with the transmission in the starting lap and drove back to the garage. He then got out of the car, said goodbye to the mechanics and it was clear that he would not enter the race.
