Formula E and the FIA today unveiled the second part of the events that will complete the 2021 season of the Formula E World Championship. After the events already contested in Saudi Arabia, and in Italy and those to come on the permanent circuit from Valencia (Spain) then to Monaco, the events which will take place in June, July and August are now known.

The schedule for what constitutes Season 7 of Formula E is therefore expected to accommodate more races than ever before in a single season, with a total of 15 races in 8 cities, spanning three continents.

The final segment of the calendar announced this Thursday begins with a new location for the 100% electric single-seater series, with the Puebla E-Prix in Mexico on June 19 and 20. The Formula E world championship is moving its Mexican event from the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City to Puebla, a city of more than 1.5 million inhabitants and located 110 km south-east of Mexico City. Both Formula E races will take place at the Autodromo Miguel E Abed, a permanent circuit near the city.

New York City will then host Races 10 and 11, on the Red Hook track in Brooklyn. Already in use until 2019, the port site offers Manhattan buildings as a backdrop. The return of this New York E-Prix will take place with another double schedule on July 10 and 11.

Formula E will then return to Europe for the London E-Prix using a unique indoor / outdoor track at ExCeL London. This E-Prix will again be a double program, on July 24 and 25, and will precede the final in Berlin, on August 14 and 15, at the site of the former Tempelhof airport.

The Marrakech (Morocco) and Santiago (Chile) E-Prix, scheduled for May 22 and June 5 and 6 respectively, have been withdrawn from this season’s calendar due to the risk of travel restrictions.
