The Formula 1 racing calendar for the 2023 season is not yet final. There have recently been rumors and speculations about some venues that may no longer be on the calendar next year, including races in France and Belgium. As part of the Belgian Grand Prix, F1 and the organizer have now confirmed that the Grand Prix will also take place in 2023. How the Belgian GP will continue after 2023 is still open at the moment. This year the organizer sold 360,000 tickets for the entire race weekend in Spa-Francorchamps. Formula 1 boss Stefano Domenicali said he was satisfied with SKY for the extension and the work of the organizers: “We have to work [der Veranstalter, Anm. d. Red.] congratulate. We have seen their investments. You can see how many people come here. It’s an amazing audience, they care a lot about the visitors and it’s great. It’s fantastic for sport. “The Italian underlined Spa’s special position in Formula 1:” We have always said that this race is part of our tradition. It has an important place in our calendar. This is a fact we wanted to share. “ For the future of the Formula 1 racing calendar, there has often been talk of a potential rotation of some countries, including France and Belgium. The pinnacle of motorsport is constantly pushing into new markets and countries willing to pay huge sums of money to enter. Many traditional circuits, such as the Hockenheimring and the Nürburgring, cannot keep up. Domenicali recently hinted that the calendar could include 24 Grands Prix in 2023, but nothing is final yet. In any case, Las Vegas will be joined by a new Grand Prix venue. This means that three races will take place in the United States next year: in Las Vegas, Austin and Miami.
