Austin (SID) – Formula 1 driver Sebastian Vettel celebrated a sense of achievement away from the racetrack before the US Grand Prix (Sunday, 9 p.m. CEST / Sky). Together with his Aston Martin team-mate Lance Stroll, the four-time world champion won a free throw competition against several other driver pairings in the premier class.
Vettel and Stroll met in front of former NBA greats like Dikembe Mutombo and Chris Bosh in nine out of 20 attempts. Mick Schumacher and his Russian Haas teammate Nikita Masepin took second place. Vettel and Stroll won $ 20,000 in aid of the nonprofit Ann Richards School Foundation.
