Formula 1 | LIVESTREAM: The Virtual GP of China with Leclerc and Co.!

“We race on!” Is the motto of Formula 1. Since the real Formula 1 world is currently at a standstill due to the corona pandemic, the premier class continues virtually. The “F1 Esports Virtual Grand Prix Series” celebrated its premiere in mid-March with the ‘in Bahrain’ race.

On April 5th sport.de and RTL.de showed the second Grand Prix in the animated Albert Park in Melbourne. Now the next duel at the console is imminent: the third Virtual GP – this time in China!

sport.de broadcasts the race live from 19 clock in the stream and has a special treat for German motorsport fans: Formula 1 commentator legend Heiko Waßer and RTL moderator Florian König will comment on the second Virtual GP.

Actually, the Formula 1 season 2020 should have picked up a lot at this time, but the corona virus thwarted drivers, teams and fans. Instead, driving is now virtual. The F1 launched the “F1 Esports Virtual Grand Prix Series” in mid-March.

Virtual GP China: Seven Formula 1 drivers, two soccer stars at the start

At the first console race in mid-March, among other things, the former F1 driver Nico Hülkenberg was there. In the second, six Formula 1 drivers were at the start. At the third Virtual GP in China, even seven Formula 1 drivers battle each other on the console.

Also present are: Ferrari star Charles Leclerc, Red Bull man Alex Albon, Antonio Giovinazzi (Alfa Romeo), George Russell and Nicholas Latifi (both Williams) as well as Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris (both McLaren). In addition, real keeper Thibaut Courtois and Lazio striker Ciro Immobile are also starting this time.

The game “F1 2019 PC” drives 28 laps on the Shanghai International Circuit.

We will broadcast the Virtual GP China on Sunday, from 7 p.m. in the livestream at sport.de, rtl.de and ntv.de. Switching with F1 experts is also planned during the 90-minute broadcast.
