Lewis Hamilton will drive in the race, but will start from the last grid in Saturday’s sprint, so he will be behind Verstappen. The judges’ decision means that the Dutchman’s advantage over Hamilton is to be expected just before the end of the season in Formula 1.
The financial penalty is enormous, but Verstappen has the right to feel happier. His chances of winning Formula 1 this season are growing and in the event of his final triumph, the Red Bull rider will certainly not care about 50,000. euro penalties.
