The Italian Grand Prix was not the most spectacular race of the year at the beginning, but at the end of the race it suddenly became a tactical duel between Ferrari and McLaren. Charles Leclerc played the game best and managed to win the Italian GP for the second time. Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris joined the Monegasque on the podium.
Max Verstappen did not feature in the entire piece. The three-time world champion finished in P6, behind Lewis Hamilton. George Russell finished in P7, followed by Sergio Perez, Alexander Albon and Kevin Magnussen. Yuki Tsunoda was the only dropout, while Norris took the point for the fastest lap.
