The reigning Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen will start Saturday’s sprint at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix from pole position.
The Red Bull driver in the Friday qualifying at the circuit in Imola, Italy, pushed the leader of the series Charles Leclerc to Ferrari behind him, Lando Norris finished third in the cockpit of McLaren.
Qualification was marked by rain and accidents, stewards had to draw a red flag up to five times. “It was complicated today, it slipped a lot.
