The FIA and Formula 1 have indicated that a case of Covid-19 has been detected in the series of 2,847 tests carried out over the last 7 days.
The Federation still refuses to communicate the name or the position of people affected by the virus but according to our information the person has no direct link with the FIA, the Formula 1 organization or the teams.
There has been less testing over the last 7 days (around 5,000 in general) because there is no Grand Prix this weekend and a lot of people have been able to return to their respective countries.
Out of 20,000 tests already carried out in nearly two months, only one case of Covid-19 (Sergio Perez) directly affected the F1 paddock.
