After 7 rounds of the new season, British Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton is in the lead with 157 points. Russian pilot “AlfaTauri” Daniil Kvyat occupies 16th position (2 points).
Hamilton won the Italian Grand Prix qualification. Kvyat will start in the 11th race. Ferrari pilots Charles Leclair and Sebastian Vettel failed qualifying – for the first time since 1984 the Italian team’s riders were not in the top ten of the starting grid at the Monza circuit.
