The Council for Comprehensive Emergency Care COVID-19 “Dr Enrique Servián” provided the weekly news report on the current situation of the coronavirus in the province of Formosa.
From the official report it appears that in the last week 1,645 surveillance tests and active search for cases have been carried out, yielding 30 of them positive results for Coronavirus (1.96% positivity).
There are 13 cases in Formosa, 11 in Laguna Blanca, three in Pirané and one case in each of the following towns: Comandante Fontana, General Güemes and Riacho He-Hé. In addition, the discharge of 30 patients was reported.
As of April 1, 2023, the province of Formosa diagnosed 139,506 cases after carrying out 1,882,944 tests since the start of the pandemic, recovering 138,019 patients and causing the death of 1,351 people.
Likewise, 61 cases are currently active, while there are 75 cases diagnosed in transit and subsequent discharge from the province of Formosa.
