For him, the country needs stability, so it is important to have a government and parliament with a longer life, but he does not believe this will happen. Tsvetanov described the situation as complicated, in which a political leader will not be chairman, as there will be no majority to support him.
But the chairman of Republicans for Bulgaria sees an opportunity for a properly functioning parliament, with real parliamentary control.
He is convinced that a government can only take place with the first given term, with the second and third being almost impossible, and envisages new elections.
For Tsvetan Tsvetanov, the low turnout is a sign of people’s disappointment and the reason is not in the summer season or any other reason.
The politician believes that personal attacks should be stopped, and when a loss is suffered, the political opponent should be opposed and attacked by politicians. For him, dialogue is most important for reaching decisions.
The former interior minister assessed Boyko Rashkov’s work as aggressive and courageous and expressed hope that it would be legal.
