When SV Werder Bremen plays Borussia Dortmund next Friday, former Bremen player Niclas Füllkrug will also be on the pitch. Werder deliberately decided not to include a clause that prohibits the use of the goalscorer.
Bremen – Admittedly, the personal balance sheet of Niclas Füllkrug in games against SV Werder Bremen is underwhelming. Also part of the contract at the time was a Bremen obligation to purchase following the loan. Ten million euros would have been due for Selke in the summer of 2021.
