The former central defender who passed through Stade Malherbe has just signed with US Boulogne-sur-Mer for the next two seasons. It will evolve in National 2, since the northern club has just made the lift.
Aged 23 and from Lille, Corentin Cal had all his classes at Racing Club de Lens. But it was in Caen that the defender signed his first contract in 2019. It was Fabrice Vandeputte, his blood and gold coach, who took him in his luggage when he arrived in Normandy. Captain of the National U19s then of the reserve team, he had made two Ligue 2 benches against Pau and Troyes, but had never come into play with the professionals. Not retained by Stade Malherbe at the end of the 2020-2021 season, he joined the Marcq-en-Barœul club (National 3).
