Former Volkswagen executives and insurers to pay € 288 million in diesel diesel compensation

Including Martin Winterkorn, former head of the Volkswagen group, will pay 11.2 million euros, the formerAudi“manager Rupert Stadler – 4.1 million euros, a former group company”Porsche“Wolfgang Hacs, a member of the board, 1.5 million euros, and Stefan Knirsch, a former member of the board of Audi, one million euros.

The amounts of compensation are determined by mutual agreement.

Wintercorn resigned a few days later, but has denied any personal misconduct.
