Nearly 52% voted for Trump’s return on Twitter and 48% voted against. “People have spoken. Trump will be back.”
Seems like a slim margin to me, but that’s ok.. I’d say it allows for more bans again. The more controversy on Twitter, the sooner we can shut down the platform.
Also, Musk would probably find it democratic, but that’s not “what people want” as far as I know. After all, he goes hand in hand, arriving at a decision together with multiple parties (including others-opposed to his return). I think polls are the worst way to bring someone like Trump back in, but hey, if they want another storm somewhere, go ahead.
Here on T.net, Musk is also regarded as one of the most inspiring people on the planet.
Luckily, I see enough opposition on Reddit, for example. He’s not as fanatical as most people think. In fact, with all the recent stories coming out, he seems very old-fashioned and self-congratulatory. Making lots of money, letting the “workers” under me work long hours, and all this within a culture of fear, where you can lose your job at any moment. His ideas about him aren’t brilliant and he certainly doesn’t do anything for humanity (I thought so even before his takeover of Twitter). All those things were already there or coming, may have contributed 5%, but other clever minds (ahem) came up with it.
