Former US President Bill Clinton was discharged from hospital on Sunday, where he was taken this week with an infection unrelated to Covid-19.
When Clinton left the University of California-Irvine Medical Center, he was married to Hillary.
75-year-old Clinton was taken to hospital on Tuesday. One of his assistants said the infection was urological in nature.
A statement released by the Irvine Medical Center on Sunday said the fever had gone to Clinton and the number of white blood cells had returned to normal. Clinton plans to go home to New York and complete an antibiotic course there, the statement said.
Clinton, who is a member of the Democratic Party and was the 42nd president of the United States from 1993 to 2001, was last hospitalized in 2010 with heart problems.
