Former Trump adviser reveals: – – Would trigger fire alarm

British-American Fiona Hill, who was previously the top Russian expert in the White House, tells CNN that she is considering triggering the fire alarm during Donald Trump’s press conference after the meeting with Vladimir Putin in Helsinki, Finland in 2018.

The criticism hailed shortly after the press conference ended.

Several reacted strongly to the fact that Trump had stood side by side with Putin and denied Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

– Terrible

Hill, who until the summer of 2019 sat on Trump’s National Security Council, describes the meeting as “terrible”.

– I just thought “let’s cut this out and try to stop it”. I could not think of anything that would not contribute to the terrible commotion, she says CNN.

However, Putin described the meeting as “an important step in the right direction”, while Trump refused to support the conclusion that Russia interfered in the presidential election.

So after a fire alarm

Hill, who was present during the press conference in 2018, says that she looked around for a fire alarm.

– First and foremost, I looked around to see if there was a fire alarm, but we were in a rather magnificent building, she says.

“I had the same feeling that Deborah Birx had during the press conference where President Trump suggested drinking bleach to counter coronavirus,” Hill said.
