Astrid is overjoyed with Harmjan: ,,He has moved in and he is running here like never before.” The plans for the marriage of the lovebirds are also going well. “Yesterday we discussed the menu,” says former truck driver Harmjan. “Tomorrow another meeting at one of the locations and then the picture is complete.”
In between work in the B&B, the two also provide enough romance. ,,Just a little hug in between and a touch”, explains Harmjan. “That works very well for me. My phone also just says ‘dream woman’.”
And the big party should therefore already take place this fall. While at first it didn’t want to raft at Astrid’s B&B. She initially indicated that she had ‘no room in her heart’ for a man. But in the final episode of the RTL 4 program, the surprise was great when she turned out to have kept in touch with Harmjan, who had returned to Dutch soil.
A few months later, Harmjan quit his job as a truck driver and went to Sankt Michael im Lungau to work in Astrid’s bed and breakfast. She in turn indicated that she felt ‘the happiest woman on earth’. Barely a month and a half later, Harmjan got down on his knees and asked his Astrid to marry him.
