American basketball player Greg Monroe will sign a 10-day contract with the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) club in Timberwolves, Minnesota, according to Sham Sharan, an athlete at The Athletic.

The 31-year-old Monroe spent the previous season in the Russian basketball team in the Khimki district of Moscow, where he played with Latvians Jānis Timms and Dairis Bertāns. He is seventh in the 2010 NBA Draft, playing for teams such as the Detroit Pistons, the Milwaukee Bucks, the Phoenix Dog, the Boston Celtics, the Toronto Raptors and the Philadelphia 76ers.
In his last NBA season so far, Monroe has been on three teams – the Raptors, the Celtics and the 76ers – due to several substitutions. The most regular basketball player of the season played for Toronto, averaging 4.8 points in 38 fights and collecting 4.1 rebounds. He played two and three games for the Celtics and 76ers, respectively. Meanwhile, in the playoffs, he has ten Philadelphia matches, with the basketball player averaging four points and 3.1 rebounds.
In his career, he played 632 games in the NBA, of which 417 were in the starting line-up. Monroe scored an average of 13.7 points, as well as 4.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists.
