Former Spain coach Luis Enrique is set to become Napoli’s head coach, according to Sport.es.

According to a source, Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis has identified Luis Enrique as the main contender for the position of the Parthenopean mentor. The Italian club has not yet reached an agreement with the Spanish specialist, but his refusal to work at Chelsea in London has opened up an opportunity to work in Italy.

Recall that the current coach of Napoli, Luciano Spalletti, will leave the club due to a misunderstanding with the functionaries of the Parthenopeans. Interestingly, under his leadership, the team managed to become the champion of Italy and reached the 1/4 finals of the Champions League.
