Mikhail Gorbachev, the former Soviet leader who finished the Cold War without bloodshed but unsuccessful to avert the collapse of the Soviet Union, died tonight at the age of 91, the news agency reported. Russian, citing healthcare facility officers.
Gorbachev became standard secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Celebration of the Soviet Union in 1985 and grew to become the supreme leader of the Soviet Union.
